Gatsby sits slouched with her elbows up on the back of her turned around chair. Time is challenging her; the deadline for her piece is tomorrow. Only then; her arm extends out by her elbow, and she wastes no time. As fast as the idea came to her, she drags the crimson tipped brush heavily along the bare canvas. Each change in color illuminates back at Gatsby. There are no borders, no defined lines, no calculations made, and no boundaries to break. There is only the rush of secrets spilling onto the page of her storybook. The colors individually illuminate against Gatsby’s opaque sin, dropping her brush, Gatsby sighs. Leaning back she stares. “Completion is in color.” She says, wide eyed and smiling from ear to ear.
